The Choice Feature

The Choice FEATURE – as shared on THE CHOICE BOOK page, is the next mega step of getting this story told and it’s nothing short of MIRACULOUS.  

Jamie and I never intended it to go this route, as we had zero clue about the movie industry and to this day, the book has constantly been used in mysterious ways in people’s lives, and we were more than happy with that.  Also not wanting our lives to become so exposed to the world on this scale, is a daunting thought and needless to say, out of the question!

Back then, when I was still living out this tragic love story, people who knew me would say through tears: “Oh my goodness Liz, your story makes the THORN BIRDS seem like Mickey Mouse” or “Liz, this is a modern-day ROMEO AND JULIET, you have got to make a movie!”

WELL, after a while it became impossible to avoid the inevitable when scriptwriters and actors from all over the world, emailed us recognizing the story’s potential and wanting to get involved.  Two separate scriptwriters from the USA, came at their own expense, to write the script here in South Africa.  We finally had to relent and admit that something extraordinary was happening.

Twenty-one years and seven scripts later, we gave up, when out of the blue, Omri Rose appeared on the scene, one of Hollywood’s best script doctors and actors. His professional involvement fixed our lacking seventh script and saved the day. As you can hear, this movie-making endeavour is NOT for the faint-hearted and staggering perseverance, endurance, faith and many miracles are needed, like Omri Rose!  

Then during the last six years (due to world circumstances, like COVID-19 and wars changing the movie trends and landscape, we have incredulously been led to have this final FEATURE SCRIPT adapted into a four-part DOCUDRAMA.  The good Lord alone knows the reasons but here we are today, READY with our teams unanimously agreeing on the way forward.  Our FEATURE MOVIE will trigger the interest for the four-part DOCUDRAMA. We also had the most wonderful PITCH DECK fully funded and designed that you can peruse here and enjoy, telling the stories behind the story. All to avoid any possible misunderstanding and religious or political prejudice that could potentially exist within my story.

Today we stand ready and positioned with firstly THE CHOICE FEATURE, written and budgeted that we can share with any possible investor.  Our TEASER below here was shot fourteen years ago, also to enjoy and hear what the spirit is saying to your hearts.
